Nata Samastha Foundation (NaHa)
is a science-based Foundation, consists of an association of professional conservationists, who work together with various Government institutions, universities, NGOs, communities, and others in promoting a balance between development and conservation of biological resources and their habitat.
The scope of our work encompass four major areas:
- research on various topics of conservation of biological resources;
- policy formulation and policy analysis to promote a balance of conservation and development;
- consultation and facilitation of various conservation issues, and
- environmental education and
Our History
Our Foundation formally was established in September 2010, although our work was already began several years before, while waiting for the formal establishment of our organization. Individually, we have various backgrounds and experience related to research and applied works on diverse disciplines. Collectively, we created a pool of experts in forestry and natural resources management/conservation.
Our organization, as well as individual member of organization, has an intensive experience on evaluating international and national projects, including evaluation on national park effectiveness, oil palm’s biodiversity, REDD+, international cooperation, as well as various other projects related to biodiversity management and conservation.
