The project was designed to evaluate the management effectiveness of ASEAN Heritage Parks (AHPs) in ASEAN countries by using a standard METT (Management Effectiveness Tracking Tools) approach. Questionnaires were distributed to all 30 AHPs, of which 6 AHPs of 4 ASEAN countries were visited for a more detailed study. From the study, the overall management effectiveness (in percentage) for the AHPs, as well as scores for individual AHPs, were revealed and analyzed. Lessons learned and recommendations for further policy formulation for ASEAN region were also produced.
