The objectives of the project was to assess the tree planting success, social investment, benefit sharing mechanism and the social capital generated through the investment. Field studies to 4 provinces (North Sulawesi, South East Sulawesi, North Sumatra, West Sumatra) were conducted. Measurements of the surviving trees, Focus Group Discussion, and series of interviews were performed in order to get the necessary data. Recommendations and lessons learned were also formulated.
